Supply agreement for Pneumatic, Electro-Pneumatic and Digital Positioners

To complement our extensive in-house range of switchboxes, switch solenoid control centres and position transmitters, K Controls has entered into a supply agreement with a major European manufacturer of positioners. This will enable a full range of pneumatic, electro-pneumatic and digital positioners to be supplied at competitive prices and on lead times that typically range between 2 and 4 weeks.

The pneumatic and electro-pneumatic products feature non interactive zero and span adjustment that facilitates quick and easy calibration. Modular design enables a pneumatic positioner to be converted to an electro-pneumatic version, or vice versa, at any time. There is a “fail freeze” option available. A top mounted unit containing feed back switches and or 4-20mA position feedback can be supplied with, or retrofitted to the positioner. The rotary version conforms to the VDI/VDE 3845 F05 mounting standard. The digital model can be specified with the HART, Profibus or Foundation Fieldbus protocols. Versions with ATEX, FM or CSA approvals are available.
